The Holley-Navarre Water System board of directors is accepting applications to fill two vacant board positions.
The appointments will be interim, volunteer positions for a term of roughly one year – until the next official election of officers in January 2019.
During the board’s February 20 meeting, it was announced that prospective directors can seek an application from the utility’s headquarters, located at 8574 Turkey Bluff Road in Navarre.
Staff will vet applications to ensure potential directors meet all requirements to serve on the board, including residency within HNWS franchise’s service area, and the board of directors at a future board meeting will vote on the appointments.
Applications will be accepted through March 6.
