Santa Rosa County Commissioners this morning decided to narrow down a field of 11 proposals to operate the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier proposals at their Thursday morning meeting.
Each commissioner during their Sept. 14 meeting will pick their top five proposals. The four proposals getting the most votes along with any ties will be finalists for the pier operations contract.
The current pier operations contract expires December 31.
“We need a substantive and detailed presentation and discussion with the potential vendor for the pier,” said Commissioner Lane Lynchard.
Presentations by the finalists are expected to be made during the week of October 9.
