Monday, May 15

At the 300 block of U.S. Highway 98, a report of a vehicle stopped in the roadway at 2:33 a.m. led to the arrest of the Pensacola driver for DUI. The driver, Nicolas Mascardo, 24, was arrested without incident.
At Watermark, there was a report of a theft. It was unfounded.

Tuesday, May 16

On the Pensacola Bay Bridge, a traffic stop for a tag violation led to the arrest of the driver for a Moving Traffic Violation at 7:01 a.m. The driver, Edward, Folsom, 59, of Pensacola was charged with Driving With a Suspended License (third or subsequent offense).
At the American Lube Fast, there was a report of a theft by an employee.

Thursday, May 18

Police conducted a traffic stop on a driver on Soundview Trail at 2:39 a.m. for speeding. The juvenile passenger was subsequently arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Also on Thursday, at the 1100 block of Hwy. 98, there was a report of a battery. The suspect in the case, Corey Short, 28, of Lynn Haven, Fla., was subsequently arrested for the battery at 2:29 a.m.

Friday, May 19

At the 1800 block of Hwy. 98, a traffic stop for suspicion of DUI subsequently led to the arrest of the driver for DUI at 2:29 a.m. The driver, Cari Swick, 20, of Gulf Breeze, was arrested without incident.
Also on Friday, at the 300 block of State Road 399, a traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of the 33-year-old Pensacola driver for a Moving Traffic Violation. The suspect, Marquita Floyd, was arrested for Driving With a Suspended License (Habitual), and for Making a False Report to an Officer. When she was transported to Santa Rosa County Jail, she was additionally found to have an Out-of-County Warrant and was a wanted fugitive from another state.

Saturday, May 20

At the 1000 block of Hwy. 98, a traffic stop for suspicion of DUI led to the arrest of the Pensacola driver for DUI at 12:38 a.m. The suspect, Etta Crisp, 47, was arrested without incident.
At the Sunchase Condos, police officers spotted two suspicious persons loitering in the condo parking lot at 3:54 a.m. The suspects later fled on foot from police. The suspects were later apprehended and both were juveniles. Police later determined that the two suspects had been committing car burglaries.
At the Quality Inn, there was a report of a found gun, which had been inadvertently left behind in a room by a quest. The gun was later returned to its rightful owner.

Sunday, May 21

On the Pensacola Bay Bridge, a traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of the driver for DUI at 1:55 a.m. The driver, David Townsend, 23, of Panama City, was arrested for the DUI without incident.
At the 200 block of Hwy. 98, a traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest (Notice to Appear) of the passenger of the vehicle on two drug charges. The passenger, Tristin Mitchell, 19, of Illinois, was charged with Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
At the 100 block of Highpoint Drive, there was a report of a vehicle burglary.
Also on Sunday, at the 300 block of SR 399, a traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of the Alabama driver for DUI. The woman, Megan Fountain, 29, was arrested without incident at 9:30 p.m.

At Shoreline Park North, there was a found wallet.
