Rotary Club of Navarre continues to support local youth programs by donating $1,000 to the newly formed Student Leadership Development Course (SLDC) at the Holley-Navarre Middle School. SLDC is a program to produce better-informed middle school students that are prepared for their next educational challenge by focusing on Character Education, Citizenship, Leadership Development and Life Skills. The SLDC program is headed up by Harry Heatley at the Middle School.

“We are thrilled to be part of the founding of this program in Navarre. Our clubs mission is to support Navarre youth and this program fits perfectly with that mission.” Rotary Club President TJ Goulet stated, adding “We look forward to supporting this program for years to come and helping it grow and flourish. Just like our work with the NJROTC and Interact Club at the High School, we think this program will help keep kids on track, grow future leaders of our community and help make a brighter future for all of us.”
