Navarre, Gulf Breeze top tri-meet

Although Milton High School was invited to the Feb. 28 tri-meet track invitational at Navarre High School, it was ultimately Navarre and Gulf Breeze who swept the competition, wrapping up first place spots in all of the events. Navarre’s team came out on top to win the meet with 77 points overall. Gulf Breeze walked away with second place with 58.5 points over Milton’s 37.5.
Navarre’s Amaya Craig polished off a first place victory in the Discus throw, followed up by a second place medal for Raider Julia McMaster. Craig’s discus throw is a new school record for Navarre’s girls’ shotput squad.
Gulf Breeze’s Ashtin Sides took home a first place victory in the long jump, followed up by a second place finish from fellow teammate Anna Jacobs.
Dolphin Bella Kline came back with an impressive win in the high jump, and Raider Khiara Newton polished off second place in the division.

Navarre took home first place in both the 400 meter run and the 4 x 400 meter run. Gulf Breeze took home top spots in the 4 x 800 relay as well.
