Santa Rosa County Commissioners on Monday will discuss a $115,000 contract to hire Dan Schebler as its first-ever Assistant County Administrator.

Schebler is a retired deputy program director for the Department of Defense’s Office of Economic Adjustment in Washington, D.C.

The county’s current County Administrator, Tony Gomillion, sought for the new position instead of replacing his former $98,000 Public Services Director position.

Schebler was selected out of a field of 53 candidates.

More information will be posted shortly.
