Friends of Bear, Inc. , a nonprofit organization, has announced it will host its 19th Annual poker run for Toys for Tots on November 7.
“Over the past 5 years we have been able to raise enough monies for over 1000 bicycles to Toys for Tots plus over $5,000 in toys for this program,” said spokeswoman Jessica Otten.
Signups begin at 10 a.m. at VFW 4407, located at 1783 Abercrombie Road in Gulf Breeze (beside Midway Fire Department). Cost is $15 per person. Kick stands up from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., followed by Class X will provide live entertainment at the VFW. Additionally, breakfast will be available to purchase from 8:30-11 a.m.
