IN LOVING MEMORIAM: Christian Tolbert

Christian Franklin Morgan Mills Tolbert, 23, of Holley-Navarre, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, following a vehicle accident.

Christian was born in Ft. Walton Beach on January 8, 2001. He graduated from Navarre High School and attended Locklin Technical College electrical program in 2020. Christian enlisted in the United States Army after graduation. He decided to pursue a welding career at Alum-Line in Iowa. Growing up Christian attended Welcome Assembly of God. Christian enjoyed fishing and his favorite place was Navarre Beach pier. He also enjoyed kayaking, welding and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bennie and June Tolbert, D.C. Cross, and Gary Allen Mills.

He is survived by his parents, Joey and Donna Tolbert Sr., of Holley, Florida; brothers and sisters, Joey Jr. (Lena) Tolbert, Jacqueline (Keith) Bryan, Alexis Tolbert, Jessie Tolbert, Dakota Tolbert, Alex Tolbert, Thomas Tolbert, Mercedes Riederer, Melissa Tolbert and Grace (Kirk) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Calin and Isaiah Tolbert, Langston and Reese Bryan, and Greyson Johnson; grandmothers, Lanelle Cross and Susan Barbara Mills. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Richard (Elena) Cross, Debbie (Arthur) Morris, David (Judy) Tolbert, Elanea (Joe Dale) Nelson, Karin (Rodney) and Scarlett Eslinger, Ivy (Stanley) Whitfield, Leanna (Rowdy ) Smith, Bonnie (Dexter) Hunter, Lon Morgan Mills, Gary Andrew Mills; his girlfriend, Payge Tripp; along with many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and many friends.

A Funeral Service took place Monday October 21, 2024, at Holley Assembly of God Church with Interment immediately afterward at Holley Point Cemetery.

Pastors Bo Senterfitt and Keith Smith officiated.

Pallbearers were Alex Tolbert, Joey Tolbert Jr, Logan Cypret, Thomas Tolbert, Forrest Ward and Dustin Couch.

The Tolbert family thanks the community for the many prayers for Christian and their family, specifically for the many calls, messages, cards and food with special thanks to Where Y’at Seafood for providing delicious food following the service. The family also asks continued prayers for their family.
