The launch of Andi Lodge’s new series, will be released on New Year’s Eve. Defending the Gulf Coast is the first book of her new series, featuring a new character, Jase Thompson.

Lodge, a native of Santa Rosa County, loves history and entwines local landmarks into her heart-pounding suspense stories.

In Defending the Gulf Coast, Thompson, a former Marine living in the historic Village of Bagdad, signs up with a para-military organization fighting crime and lawlessness along the Gulf Coast – occasionally using less than conventional methods of law enforcement.

Dive headfirst into the adrenaline-fueled world of Jase and his elite team as they fight to crush a ruthless cartel threatening the Gulf Coast. With undercover agents, Task Force operatives, and the DEA locked and loaded, they’re in a deadly race against time to unmask the cartel’s elusive leader.

As bullets fly and alliances shatter, a power-hungry girlfriend rises from the shadows, threatening to seize control of the empire. In this high-stakes thriller filled with twists, betrayal, and explosive action, every second could be their last. Hold on tight—this heart-pounding adventure will leave you breathless until the final page!

It’s her fourth book, following Missing on the Gulf Coast, Escape on the Gulf Coast, and Hooked on the Gulf Coast.

Her debut series followed Hilda Mae Palmer, a landscaper who uncovers danger, corruption, and intrigue at every turn, and some favorite characters from the Hilda Mae series also appear in the newest book, which is the first in her second series.
