Milton Mayor Heather Lindsay has a 1 p.m. hearing tomorrow before First Judicial Circuit Judge J. Scott Duncan related to her continued non-compliance with turning over requested public records.
Lindsay on Jan. 31 was ordered by the Court to release records determined to be public.
Although five City Council members voted to withdraw the City’s lawsuit against Lindsay; a new filing shows the City is seeking an appropriate sanction to compel Lindsay’s compliance with the order.
“Defendant has not complied with this Court’s Order to produce the public records found. Plaintiff seeks an appropriate sanction by the Court to compel compliance to its Order. Plaintiff advises the Court that the City has already received at least 3 public records requests for the records identified by the Order as non-exempt public records.”
The hearing will take place at Santa Rosa County Courthouse, located at 4025 Avalon Boulevard in Milton.
