Most locals know Navarre Beach Pier as the place to be for Santa Rosa County’s official Fourth of July fireworks display. But Windjammers on the Pier also has lots of family fun activities planned all month long, including their popular free weekly summer concert series, Jams in the Sand.
Celebrate Independence Day all day long at Navarre Beach Pier, which plays center stage for the County’s rain or shine pyrotechnics display, which will take place at the end of the pier at 9 p.m. A portion of pier structure will be closed off earlier in the day for safety, but the restaurant will remain open and offers an unparalleled viewing spot.
INDEPENDENCE DAY LINEUP:
- 7:30-11 AM: Breakfast by the Beach Start your 4th off strong with beachside breakfast — delicious food, Gulf views, and chill vibes to fuel your day;
- 11 AM–3 PM: DJ Hi-Def on the Beach Stage kicks off the party, bringing the jams, hosting games, and giving away epic prizes like VIP Firework Viewing on the Pier, Allocated Bourbon Bottles, drink coupons, merch, and more. All prizes pulled at random from the Windjammers Prize Bucket — just show up and play to win!
- 3–7 PM: The Jae Rich Project on the Vinyl Stage upstairs. Feel the groove with this powerhouse duo delivering high-energy vibes, sing-along favorites, and beachy fun;
- 7–11 PM: DEAD LAST on the Beach Stage, bringing the ultimate 4th of July rock show to the sand! Expect new music, unmatched energy, and a set that will carry you right into the fireworks show!
- 9 PM: The Official Navarre Beach Fireworks Show Begins! Bring your beach chairs or blankets, your good vibes, and your patriotic pride — this is the place to be for a full day of food, music, games, and fireworks!
The fun doesn’t stop after Independence Day. Throughout summer, each Wednesday and Friday there will be beach karaoke with DJ Hi-Def from 6-10 p.m. Sing your heart out or just enjoy watching, which is just as fun!
Each Thursday evening through September 4, Windjammers hosts a free live outdoor concert from 6-10 p.m. The concerts are open to the public and set against one of the most beautiful backdrops on the Gulf Coast. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and get ready to enjoy some incredible beachside music under the stars. No outside food, drinks, or pets allowed, but two full-service bars are available. Event security will also be present to help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.
The restaurant also hosts the most unique beach shopping around with its Navarre Beach Maker’s Market, which is scheduled for 5-9 p.m., Saturday July 5 and Saturday, July 19. Shop a fantastic lineup of local vendors offering handcrafted goods, art, jewelry, home decor, and more—all while enjoying a stunning sunset over Navarre Beach! There will be live music by Josh Sullivan, a talented artist who will set the perfect vibe for a night of shopping, sipping, and relaxing by the water.
There’s also live entertainment every Saturday night from 6-10 p.m., and from 1-5 p.m. on Sundays and 4-8 p.m. on Mondays.
Don’t forget to take a stroll along the longest pier along the Gulf while you’re there. It’s just $1 per person, and you never know what you’ll see from jumping porpoises to large manta rays.
