The Navarre Area Board of Realtors on Wednesday presented Navarre Broker Betty Fountain with its highest accolade – the Rebecca Ann Evans Award, which commemorates the life and contributions of the late president for unselfish service to NABOR, to the real estate community and to the quality of life in the Greater Navarre Area.

“Betty Fountain has been a bright and steady light in Navarre for many years. Her dedication, kindness, and selfless service to our community and the Board of Realtors have helped shape the growth of Navarre in many meaningful ways,” stated NABOR President Janet Keller, adding, “The Rebecca Ann Evan Award is a lifetime achievement award and it honors the tremendous impact that she has had on so many in our local community. It was an honor and a privilege to be present today to see Betty accept this award.”

It’s not the first time Fountain has been recognized by her peers. She was NABOR’s 1993 Realtor of the Year.

Fountain is the Broker and Owner of Realty Associates of Santa Rosa and has more than 27 years of Real Estate experience with millions of dollars in sales volume.

“I feel personally responsible for bringing my clients transactions to a successful completion,” Fountain said. “I provide the same level of service and attention to the building of an affordable family home, a million-dollar custom estate or assisting the experienced investor.”

Fountain believes her professional real estate background, coupled with her interest in architecture and interior design, provided the opportunity for her venture into Real Estate Development. She is the award-winning developer of elite waterfront communities, including but not limited to La Fontaine, Fountainview, and Magnolia Harbor.

“These developments are well known for their dramatic entrances and for using approved Award-Winning Builders with innovative interior and exterior designs,” Fountain said.

In addition to her professional experience, Fountain has also taken an active leadership role in the community, serving as NABOR’s treasurer and president, a sustaining member of the Fort Walton Beach Junior League, and a member of Kiwanis Club, Beta Sigma Phi, and Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. She has served as local chairman of the Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC) and achieved membership in the Florida Honor Society of Realtors.

Along with her husband, Greg, she also co-chaired the Becky Evans Median Beautification Program in Navarre and procured a grant for Median Beautification of five medians in Navarre.
