Ke Anthony Blackmon, 29, and Averee Savage, 27, are both in Santa Rosa County Jail facing federal charges, including possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing Fentanyl. Savage reportedly recently became an informant against Blackmon. On Monday, Dynisha Blunt, a corrections officer at Santa Rosa Correctional Institute, located next to the county jail, was jailed and now faces felony child abuse charges involving Savage’s two young children, whom the State of Florida had placed in her care.

Blackmon, left, is reportedly is not to be the father of Savage’s injured children. They’ve both been at Santa Rosa County Jail since January. If convicted as charged, they each face a minimum mandatory of 10 years up to life imprisonment on the drug charges.
Blunt, 33, and her partner, Etantania Williams, 35, were booked April 27 into Escambia County Jail and charged with two felony counts of child neglect with great bodily harm related to multiple injuries to Savage’s three-year-old son and one-year-old daughter. Blunt was issued a $500,000 bond and Williams was issued a $250,000 bond.

The injuries came to light after Blunt took the boy to West Florida Hospital then took off before he could receive treatment.

A source close to the case reports that Savage had recently become an informant against Blackmon and that the injury to her daughter’s tongue was a “signal” to the Savage to stop talking.
It is unknown at this time why the Florida Department of Children and Families and/or FamiliesFirst Network approved placement of Savage’s children with the duo in January, considering a maternal family member has been trying to get custody.
Savage’s children were reported to be overseen by Loren Dabbs and Georgiana Thompson. Both women are believed to work for FamiliesFirst Network as a case worker and supervisor, respectively.
