The couple who live in the home called law enforcement after they noticed over $1,000 worth of jewelry was missing from their bedroom shortly after the duo moved in. The couple also noted that tools were coming up missing from the shed that the suspects were living in.
The victim later confronted Landry about the missing tools, which he denied taking. Some of the tools were later found at local pawn shops that Landry had taken them to.
A witness later came forward alleging they thought they saw Harvell steal jewelry from a jewelry box located inside of the victim’s bedroom, despite Harvell not being allowed inside of the bedroom. The witness claimed that back in July she observed Harvell looking at one of the victim’s jewelry boxes. When the witness asked Harvell what she was doing, the suspect claimed she was just picking up a stuffed animal that had fallen over on the dresser.
