Santa Rosa County Commissioners this morning selected four of 11 proposals to move forward as finalists, contending for a contract to operate the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier.
The current pier operations contract expires December 31.
Three proposals received four votes:
Johnny Huston’s Bar & Grille
Bob Benaquis and Robert Cook
Navarre Beach Pier LLC (Chuck Pohlmann, Claude Duvall, Steve Hering, Roy DuBose and A.P. Attalla)
And one proposal received three votes:
Growing SRC (Jessika Schelfhout, Jonathan Cole, Ken Fountain and Larry & Jerry Rollinson)
Presentations by the finalists are expected to be made starting at 1:30 p.m. on October 9.
