Edie Brickel and Steve Martin wrote the musical
The Gulf Breeze High School Theatre Department will be sharing their fall musical “Bright Star” the weekend dates of Dec. 7, 8 and 9.
This recent Broadway musical was written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickel and is set in the Appalachian Mountains during the 1920’s and 1940’s.
Filled with rich bluegrass music and song, you’ll be swept back in time to a story of love lost and found, and family redemption.
Showtimes are Dec. 7 (Fri.) at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 8 (Sat.) at 7:30 p.m., and Dec. 9 (Sun.) at 2:30 p.m. at the Ashmore Auditorium at PSC Pensacola.
