The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is currently working several vehicle burglaries in the Midway/Gulf Breeze area.
Late last week, the sheriff’s department was able to obtain a photo of a suspect who is believed to be behind a string of vehicle burglaries, and according to the sheriff’s office, “needs to be apprehended”.
The suspect was captured on surveillance photos wearing a Colts sweatshirt with Nike symbols on the sleeves of the sweatshirt.
It is unclear from the photo whether the suspect is a man or a woman, but the sheriff’s office stated they believe the individual is a male.
The Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers Program is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for the arrest of the individual.
Over the past several months, the sheriff’s office has seen an increase in the number of vehicle burglaries in the south end of the county. The sheriff’s office reminds citizens to lock their vehicle doors and hide valuables from plain site.
The sheriff’s office is seeking the public’s help in identifying the person. If anyone has any information related to the identity of the person (pictured right), call Crime Stoppers at 850-437-STOP or submit a web tip at www.srccs.com.
