For about ten years the Holley-Navarre Fire Department has supported the Families First program by collecting Angel Tree donations.
“It’s a way of helping, giving back,” said HNFD Chief Ron Norton, who said there were 80 angels on the department tree this year.
When Navarre businessman Will Goulet of Navarre Auto Repair discovered yesterday there were angels still waiting on the tree, he not only stepped up and took care of some but also called on other business owners to help out, including Tammie and Bryan Duncan of Bryan’s Towing, who took care of 10 angels.
“I just don’t want a kid to go without a Christmas present,” said Goulet.
As of Dec. 14, eight angels remain on this year’s HNFD tree. To give, contact the station, located at 8618 Esplande Street. (850) 939-5236
