A wire-to-wire win capped off a great night at Southern Raceway in Milton for Navarre’s own HSH Racing (www.hshracing.com). Driver Carl Dodson along with co-owner Will Goulet, have kept up the momentum throughout the race in the Pure Stock Division.
HSH Racing is in its first year of racing as a team. Will Goulet, owner of Navarre Auto Repair, is the primary team sponsor. Carl Dodson is the driver and co-owner and David Simpson is the team’s Crew Chief. Both Carl and Will are former track champions; Carl in the Stinger Division at Southern and Will in the Bomber Division at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola.
“Owning a race team is a lot of work” Goulet said. “Luckily I have a great partner and driver in Carl Dodson and we have great support staff and sponsors.”
This coming Saturday at Southern Raceway is double points night so Carl and HSH Racing have their work cut out for them if they want to stay in first place. Jessica Donaldson and Bubba Fletcher are within 4 points of the lead and anything can happen on race night.
Southern Raceway is located on Hwy 87 in Milton just South of I-10 and races on most Saturday nights from April through October.
