Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa, a nonprofit that provides services for those in need, announces required client registration for upcoming 2020 holiday support will take place from 2-5 p.m. on October 17 and 18 and from 5-8 p.m. on October 19 at Liberty Church in the Midway community.

Each year Caring and Sharing provides food boxes, gift cards for perishable food items and clothing vouchers at Thanksgiving. Also, they provide food boxes, gift cards for perishable food items, gift cards for teenagers and toys and clothing for children 12 and under at Christmas.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has presented challenges to the charity, its president said they are determined not to let it stop their holiday support efforts.

“Our core volunteers knew we needed to figure out how to be more flexible this year, embrace the changes that needed to be made for how distribution will run, and most important keep our clients and our volunteers safe, and I’m excited to say we all agreed we will find the way to help the community,” said Ann Thomas, president.

To abide by CDC COVID-19 guidelines, drive-through interviews will take place at only one place, Liberty Church, located at 6006 Gulf Breeze Parkway. All registrants will need to remain in their vehicles at all times. To expedite the process, registrants are encouraged to download and bring completed registration forms, which are available via the Caring and Sharing website: CLICK HERE FOR CARING AND SHARING WEBSITE
