Catholic falls to Dolphins

Pensacola Catholic High School suffered an embarrassing 10-5 loss against the Gulf Breeze boys’ lacrosse team last Wednesday night thanks to a last minute push in the fourth quarter by the Dolphin boys.
The first two quarters of the game ended in ties. The first, 1-1, saw goals from Dolphin TJ Durst and a Crusader.
The second quarter, both teams stayed on each other’s heels.
Durst remained vigilant in the second firing a shot in the Crusader goal with 8:15 left in the quarter. Dolphin Noah Hass fired another one in the goal for the Dolphins, ended the half 4-4.
In the third, Durst continued his streak with a shot underneath Crusader goalie Phillip Garcia’s legs.
Dolphin Harold Hill finished out the third with a goal with only 40 second left on the clock putting the Dolphins up 7-5.
The Crusaders were unable to score in the fourth, but the Dolphins dropped 3 more in the Crusader goal to finish out the game 10-5.
