Chambers team up to provide meals on Santa Rosa County’s Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners will proclaim August 14 as Law Enforcement Appreciation Day in Santa Rosa County, and local chambers of commerce are teaming up to host meals for law enforcement officers on that day.
 
“This day will  honor the  contributions and dedicated service of all law enforcement officers in the county,” said Pace Area Chamber CEO Nicki Qualls.
 
The effort will provide meals to law enforcement officers from Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department, City of Milton Police Department, City of Gulf Breeze Police Department, Florida Highway Patrol and the Florida Wildlife Commission.
 
The event is being sponsored by the six area Chambers of Commerce located in Santa Rosa County: Gulf Breeze Chamber, Greater Navarre Chamber, Jay Chamber, Navarre Beach Chamber, Pace Chamber and Santa Rosa County Chamber.
 
Additional sponsorships are being solicited to assist with the meals and also provide gift cards from local merchants to show appreciation to law enforcement officers.
