The Coast Guard Command Center in Mobile, Alabama this morning confirmed that a “due dilligence” search continues following an unconfirmed report yesterday of a possible person in the water.
“We were just searching for a non-confirmed person,” stated a USCG spokesman, who denied reports of a search for missing watercraft or aircraft. “There shouldn’t be any extreme activity.”
Navarre residents have observed coast guard helicopter(s) making sweeping passes along Santa Rosa Sound during the past 24 hours.
