Early Voting Starts March 22 for April 1 Special Election

Two races will be on the April 1 ballot: U.S. House District 1 special election and the Florida House District 3 primary.

Jimmy Patronis won the CD-01 Republican primary back on Jan. 28, and on the April 1 ballot he’ll face off against Democrat Gay Valimont and several write-in candidates: Richard Paul Dembinsky, Stanley Gray, and Stan McDaniels.

In the FL-01 primary, 8 Republicans qualified and the winner of the April 1 primary will face Democrat Dondre wise in the June 10 election:

  • Boyles, Nathan
  • Hudson, Hayden
  • McQuaig, Rena
  • Merritt, Wade
  • Owens, Shon
  • Sik, Joshua
  • Smith, Cindy
  • Wells, Jamie

Early voting for the April 1 special election will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Saturday, March 22 and runs through Saturday, March 29 at the following sites, where ballot drop boxes/secure ballot intake stations will be located:

  • Main Elections Office (Behind McDonalds on Highway 90, Milton) 6495 Caroline St., Suite “F” Milton, FL 32570-4592
  • South Service Center (1 block east of the Zoo on Highway 98) 5841 Gulf Breeze Pkwy. (Highway 98) Gulf Breeze, FL 32563
