Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart will hold a free developmental screening fair for children on Saturday, May 1 from 10 a.m. until noon. The screening event will take place at St. Sylvester Catholic Church, 6464 Gulf Breeze Parkway.
The event will include pediatric screenings for hearing, vision, autism, nutrition, growth and development to help ensure children are reaching important milestones. If needed, specialized caregivers and community resources will be available to connect children and parents with follow-up services.
Face masks will be required. The event also will offer car seat safety checks from certified fitters and free bike helmets while supplies last.
Studer Family Children’s Hospital is the region’s only children’s hospital and its services include a Pediatrics Center in Gulf Breeze that offers a general pediatrics practice, pediatric X-ray and outpatient pediatric rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
