Grand jury indicts Navarre suspect on first-degree murder and six other charges

State Attorney Bill Eddins announces that Robert Shane Lucas was indicted this morning by the Grand Jury in Santa Rosa County for the First Degree Premeditated Murder of Carrie Lynn Brewer at 2212 Fulva Drive in Navarre on or about February 3rd, 2019.

In addition to the murder charge, the indictment includes Graft Theft of a Firearm, Grand Theft Auto, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Law Enforcement Officer in an Agency Vehicle with Lights and Sirens Activated at High Speed, Aggravated Assault upon a Law Enforcement Officer, Battery upon a Law Enforcement Officer, and Resisting Officer with Violence.

The defendant will be arraigned on the seven count indictment on March 7th. His bond remains at no bond.
