A grief recovery group for those grieving the loss of someone close and needing encouragement during difficult times is forming in Navarre.
Griefshare will begin September 11, and the 13-week sessions will include a video seminar featuring leading grief recovery experts, small group discussion and personal study exercises to reinforce session topics.
Dr. John McInnis, Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church Navarre, will be lead facilitator of the non-denominational group which features Biblical concepts of healing from grief.
The cost for Griefshare participants is $25.00, which includes a study guide, and childcare is available upon request.
Weekly session start at 6 p.m. with a meal and conclude at 8 p.m. Participants can join the group at any time during the 13 weeks.
The sessions will take place at First Baptist Church Navarre, located at 9302 Navarre Parkway.
