At the 700 block of U.S. Highway 98, Gulf Breeze Police conducted a traffic stop on a driver who was not wearing her seatbelt at 9:13 a.m. The stop ultimately led to the arrest of the driver, Brandy Sasser, 32, of Pensacola for Driving with a Suspended License.
Also on Tuesday, at an establishment at the 1000 block of Gulf Breeze Parkway, there was a report of credit card fraud.
At the foot of the Pensacola Bay Bridge, a traffic stop for speeding at 8:13 p.m. led to the arrest of the Pensacola driver. Terry Wilson, 58, was charged with DUI and Refusal to Submit to a Breathalyzer.
Wednesday, June 22
At the 100 block of Navarre Street, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 12:29 a.m., and it ultimately led to the arrest of the driver and passenger of the vehicle. The driver, Marco Gray, 29, of Pensacola was charged with Driving With a Suspended License, Fleeing and Eluding Police, Resisting an Officer Without Violence and Loitering/Prowling. The passenger of the vehicle, Robert Donald 44, also of Pensacola, was arrested for Loitering/Prowling.
Also on Wednesday, at Gulf Breeze Hospital, a suspect with a warrant was located and arrested at 7:27 p.m. The suspect, Courtney Hurley, 26, of Pensacola, was arrested and transported to Santa Rosa County Jail.
Friday, June 24
At the CVS Pharmacy, police responded to a theft complaint. Someone reported that their iPhone 6 was stolen.
At the 700 block of Hwy. 98, a traffic stop for a seatbelt violation on a vehicle led to the arrest of the driver on several narcotics charges. The driver, Hallie Speed, 19, of Pensacola was arrested at 2:38 p.m. and charged with Possession of Marijuana (Over 20 Grams), Possession of Marijuana for Distribution, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Speed was later released from Santa Rosa County Jail after posting $16,000 bond.
Saturday, June 25
At the foot of the Pensacola Bay Bridge, Gulf Breeze Police pulled over a vehicle for a license plate violation at 2:38 a.m. The traffic stop ultimately led to the arrest of the driver, 48-year-old Dexter Hill, and his passenger Teneca Hines, 33, for several narcotics violations. Hill, a Pensacola resident was subsequently charged with Driving With a Suspended License, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hines, also a Pensacola resident, was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Hines was later released from Santa Rosa County Jail after posting $2,000 bond, while Hill was released after posting $2,250 bond.
Sunday, June 26
At the Exxon Gas Station, there was a report of a hit-and-run crash at 12:54 a.m. Police canvassed the area and eventually arrested Thomas Harper, 45, of Tennessee after his vehicle was located. He was charged with Hit-and-Run and booked into Santa Rosa County Jail.
Also on Sunday, at the Whataburger, officers responded to a suspicion person at the establishment and ultimately arrested a Pace man for Petit Theft and Disorderly Conduct. The man, David Miller, 53, was arrested without incident at 7:34 p.m.
Monday, June 27
At the 100 block of Highpoint Drive, an individual reported credit card fraud.
Also on Monday, at the foot of the Pensacola Bay Bridge, a traffic stop for an expired tag at 9:07 p.m. led to the arrest of a Gulf Breeze man for an outstanding warrant. Robert Dunn, 45, was arrested and booked into Santa Rosa County Jail for the warrant.
This past week, Gulf Breeze Police made a total of 95 traffic stops within the city limits. Twenty seven of those stops resulted in citations while the other 68 resulted in warnings.
There were 2 crashes total with injury in the city limits this past week and a total of 12 without injury. There were also 3 hit-and-runs reported.
