Tuesday, July 12

Gulf Breeze Police responded to a home at the 1100 block of Tallpine Drive. The resident reported someone had damaged their mailbox.

Wednesday, July 13

GBPD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after they noticed one of the occupants was not wearing his/her seatbelt at 8:02 p.m. The stop ultimately led to the arrest (Notice to Appear) of the driver for Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams). The driver, Benjamin Allen, 18, of Pensacola, was given the notice and released.
Also on Wednesday, at the 300 block of State Road 399, police pulled over a motorist for a seatbelt violation at 10:15 p.m. The stop led to the arrest (Notice to Appear) of the driver, Dustin Patton, 21, of Pensacola for Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
At the 1100 block of U.S. Highway 98, officers responded to a single car traffic crash at 10:46 p.m. When police responded, they arrested the driver of the vehicle, Phillip Reynolds, 47, of Louisiana for DUI.

Saturday, July 16

At the 1800 block of Hwy.  98, a traffic stop for speeding on a vehicle ultimately led to the arrest of the driver for DUI, Refusal to Submit to a Breathalyzer Test, Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The driver, Truman Fourroux, 53, of Gulf Breeze was arrested without incident at 10:42 p.m.

Sunday, July 17

At 1:08 a.m. GBPD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the 400 block of SR399 for a license violation. The stop led to the arrest of the female driver, Michael Dillard, 25, for Driving with a Suspended License (3rd or subsequent offense) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

This past week, Gulf Breeze Police made a total of 132 traffic stops within the city limits. Fifty-three of those stops resulted in citations while the other 79 resulted in warnings.
There were no wrecks with injury last week, but there were a total of 14 wrecks without injury in the city limits last week.
There was also a hit-and-run reported.
