Gulf Breeze Police Report – June 10, 2016

Wednesday, June 1

A Gulf Breeze man was slapped with DUI charges after Gulf Breeze Police stopped him for a traffic violation at the 800 block of Shoreline Drive last Wednesday. Evan Burgmeier, 27, was arrested without incident following the stop.

Friday, June 3

GBPD conducted a traffic stop at the 200 block of Gulf Breeze Parkway on a vehicle driven by an Eight Mile, Ala. woman. The stop resulted in the arrest of the driver, Harriesha Brown, 22, for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Also on Friday, at the 800 block of U.S. Highway 98, an officer stopped a vehicle for a series of traffic violations. During the stop, it was discovered that the 28-year-old driver had been involved in a hit-and-run earlier that day. The Cantonment driver, Steven McRae, was arrested following the finding and charged with DUI and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

Saturday, June 4

A Gulf Shores woman was nabbed at the CVS Pharmacy in Gulf Breeze Proper for Petit Theft and a string of other charges after she allegedly made an attempt to shoplift at the store. Melissa Grimes, 41, was arrested and charged with Petit Theft, Marijuana Possession and Possession of Pills Without a Prescription.

Sunday, June 5

A traffic stop at the foot of the Pensacola Bay Bridge led to the arrest of a Pensacola man for Driving With a Suspended License. Nineteen-year-old Kevin Pacardo Vargas was caught speeding over the bridge and was pulled over by police. During the stop, police learned he had a suspended license. Pacardo Vargas was charged with Driving With a Suspended License.
Also on Sunday, GBPD pulled over a vehicle for speeding at the 300 block of Gulf Breeze Parkway. The stop led to the arrest of the Pensacola driver on two drug-related charges. Ronni Shoemore, the driver, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
