At the 700 block of Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze Police conducted a traffic stop on a Pace man’s vehicle. The stop ultimately led to the arrest of the driver, Jason Emmons, 41, for Driving With a Suspended License.
Also on Tuesday, at the 700 block of Gulf Breeze Parkway, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after they noticed an occupant inside was not wearing his/her seatbelt. The stop ultimately led to the arrest of the driver, Bradley Stoner, 19, of Mobile, Ala. for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Friday, July 1
At the 200 block of Pensacola Beach Road, GBPD responded to a burglary call at a residence. When they got to the residence, they were able to apprehend a man who was inside the home. Mark Owens, 45, of Gulf Breeze was arrested and charged with Burglary.
Also on Friday, at the 200 block of Gulf Breeze Parkway, a traffic stop led to the arrest of a Milton man for Driving with A Suspended License. The suspect, Adam Barner, 22, was arrested without incident.
At the foot of the Pensacola Bay Bridge, a traffic stop on a vehicle ultimately led to the arrest of a Milton man on several charges. The driver, Kerron Brown, 20, was arrested for Driving With a Suspended License, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Saturday, July 2
At the foot of the Pensacola Bay Bridge, a motorist was stopped and ultimately arrested for Driving Under the Influence. The driver, Andrew Mott, 39, of Selma, Ala. was arrested and charged with DUI.
At the 1800 block of Gulf Breeze Parkway, a traffic stop on a vehicle led to the arrest of a two of the vehicle’s occupants on several drug charges. Xavier Leverett, 20, of Pensacola and Breanna Kelley, 19, also of Pensacola were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Also on Saturday, at the 800 block of Gulf Breeze Parkway, a traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of a Kenner, La. man for DUI and not having a valid driver’s license. The driver, Jefri Mejia Reyes, 22, was arrested without incident
Monday, July 4
Police responded to a disabled vehicle on the Pensacola Bay Bridge. When they made contact with one of the occupants, they found they were wanted out of another state. The out-of-state fugitive, Sandra Bell, 40, of Waveland, Miss. was arrested and taken to Santa Rosa County Jail.
Wednesday, July 6
At the 200 block of U.S. Highway 98, a traffic stop at 5:39 p.m. for a suspicious vehicle led to the arrest of the driver on a number of drug charges. The driver, Christopher Woerner, 42, of Pensacola, was arrested and charged with Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, Driving With a Suspended License (third offense), Possession of a New Legend Drug and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Woerner’s passenger, Laurie Chapman, 44, of Pensacola was also arrested during the stop. She was charged with Possession of a New Legend Drug, Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent to Sell, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Saturday, July 9
At the 700 block of Hwy. 98, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for speeding at 4:35 a.m. The stop led to the arrest of the driver, John Dalrymple, 32, of Gulf Breeze for an outstanding warrant.
Also on Saturday, at the 700 block of Hwy. 98, a traffic stop for a seatbelt violation led to the arrest (Notice to Appear) of the driver for Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams). The driver, Taylor Stoll, 25, of Pensacola was given the notice and released.
Sunday, July 10
At the Beach Community Bank, Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at 1:14 p.m. The report ultimately led to the arrest of two of the vehicle’s occupants. Ralph Stites, 41, and Tammy Pursley, 45, both from Indiana, were arrested and charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
Monday, July 11
A wallet was found at the Neighborhood Market Walmart.
This past week, Gulf Breeze Police made a total of 125 traffic stops within the city limits. Thirty-five of those stops resulted in citations while the other 90 resulted in warnings.
There were no wrecks with injury last week, but there were a total of 13 wrecks without injury in the city limits last week.
