At the 600 block of U.S. Highway 98, there was a report of a driver passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle at the intersection of Daniel Drive and Hwy. 98 at 12:18 a.m. Officers arrived and determined that the driver, Stephen Tomlin, 23, of Gulf Breeze, was intoxicated. Tomlin was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI, Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Also on Tuesday, at the 300 block of State Road 399, a traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of a Pensacola man at 6:51 p.m. The suspect, Antonio Franklin, 20, was ultimately arrested for Driving With a Suspended License.
At the Taco Bell, there was a report of a cell phone theft. The phone had been left in one of the bathrooms inside of the establishment.
On the Pensacola Bay Bridge, a report of a stalled vehicle led to the arrest of the driver of that vehicle for an outstanding warrant at 9 p.m. The Pensacola man, Jeremy Walker, was arrested without incident.
Wednesday, May 10
At the Quality Inn motel, there was a report of a theft and burglary in one of the rooms.
Also on Wednesday, at Gibson Girl, there was a report of a theft of clothing by two female suspects. Those two females were later spotted in Pizzaz stealing items. GBPD is still investigating the matter.
Thursday, May 11
At the 500 block of Hwy. 98, a report of a single vehicle crash led to the arrest of the Pensacola driver. The suspect, Erin Picou, 35, was ultimately arrested for DUI and Driving With a Suspended License after the traffic investigation.
At the Gulf Breeze Aerobics and Fitness, there was a report of a theft of jewelry.
In the Publix parking lot, a report of a child left unattended in a running vehicle ultimately led to the arrest of the drive of the vehicle for Child Neglect. The suspect, Kelsie Kleppe, 25, of Pensacola, was arrested without incident.
At the Chevron gas station, there was a report of a customer stealing an energy drink.
Friday, May 12
On Andrew Jackson Trail, a traffic stop at 3 p.m. led to the arrest of the driver of the vehicle on numerous charges. The suspect, Timmy Welch, 53, of Pensacola, was arrested for Petit Theft and Attaching an Unassigned Vehicle Tag.
Saturday, May 13
At the 200 block of SR 399, a traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of the driver for an outstanding warrant at 2:08 a.m. The driver, Zachary Carroll, 21, of Pensacola, was arrested without incident.
At the 200 block of SR399, a traffic stop for suspicion of SUI, led to the arrest of the 43-year-old driver for DUI and other charges. The driver, Juli Parks, of Gulf Breeze, was ultimately charged with DUI, Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Also on Saturday, at the 1100 block of Hwy. 98, a traffic stop for a stop sign violation led to the arrest (Notice to Appear) of a Navarre woman on drug charges at 11:39 p.m. The suspect, Elisa Monroe, 21 was charged with Possession of Marijuana (Under 20 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
At the Exxon gas station, there was a report of a found wallet.
Monday, May 15
At the 300 block of Hwy. 98, a report of a vehicle stopped in the roadway at 2:33 a.m. led to the arrest of the Pensacola driver for DUI. The driver, Nicolas Mascardo, 24, was arrested without incident.
Also on Monday at Watermark, there was a report of a theft. It was unfounded.
This past week, GBPD made a total of 164 traffic stops. Seventy-seven of those stops resulted in citations while the other 87 resulted in warnings.
There were 12 reported wrecks with injury reported in the city limits last week and a total of 3 wrecks without injury reported. There was also one hit and run reported.
