HNMS art show draws crowd

Students at Holley-Navarre Middle School exhibited their award-winning artwork last week inside the school’s library as part of the HNMS Art Show. A total of 22 winners were ribboned during the annual art show, including student Jayden Wiszniewski’s piece (shown in main photo), which won Best of Show.
The exhibit, which was open last Monday and Tuesday, showcased cardboard art, pottery, drawings and even paintings.
HNMS Art Teacher Cara Sayer said each student worked diligently on their projects, and they definitely shined at the annual art exhibit.
“The students have worked extremely hard since the beginning of the school year. It definitely shows with the quality of work, and the quantity of awards brought home. We have had an extremely successful year,” Sayer said.
