Beatrice “Becky” Sharon, 81, of Holley, died Saturday, May 31st at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida with her family and loved ones by her side.
Becky was born July 16, 1943 in Tallahassee, Florida to Joe and Buelah Bryant. She grew up with two brothers and three sisters that she loved dearly. She was known in the Tallahassee area by her nickname “Peaches” or when she would talk on the CB as “Tallahassee Brown Eyes”
In 1961, she married a young marine named Richard Sharon. Little did she know they would spend 63 wonderful years together, and in that time they would raise three children together; Ricky, Micky, and Vicki.
Becky and Richard moved to Navarre in 1977 and built their life with their children, and eventually grandchildren. She helped her husband found and operate Gulf Breeze Pest Control, answering phone calls and managing appointments, one of the most vital parts of the business.
Aside from being a devoted wife and mother, Becky loved to travel. She loved the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina, and even got to visit Alaska and Hawaii, trips that she loved to talk about.
She is survived by her sons, Ricky Sharon and Micky Sharon, and her daughter Vicki (Carl) Wolfe; three Grandchildren, Patricia (James) Sharon, Chandler (Briannah) Sedlacek, and Payton Wolfe, and two great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Kinsley. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard, her brothers Dalton and Jerry Bryant, and her sisters Leona Smith and Francis Adams, and her parents.
