Young engineers at Gulf Breeze Elementary School put their building skills to the test last Friday morning inside the school’s cafeteria where they hand-constructed their own gingerbread houses.
Every year, the school hosts the Gingerbread House-building event for the kindergartners where they are given a variety of construction materials to choose from: pretzels, M & Ms, icing and Hershey Kisses, just to name a few.
Parents and teachers donated the building supplies to the children, and each classroom had a different set of construction materials to choose from.
