Local Author’s New Book Aims to Inspire

Navarre Businessman Skip Orth has penned his fourth book, Letters to Judah. The book is a compilation of letters he wrote to his youngest son, Judah, who went through U.S. Marine boot camp.

Through a series of 77 letters featuring favorite sayings, scriptures and philosophies, Orth issues a father’s advice for living a successful life.

Orth’s mission was to inspire others – not just his son and large family.

Orth and his wife, Teresa, were married in 1984 and moved to Navarre. Together they raised 6 children, homeschooling each one.

Skip is an entrepreneur who has started several businesses and is currently the owner and CEO of Father and Son Pest and Lawn Solutions, a multi-million dollar company based in Navarre. He runs the business with the help of his oldest son, Buddy. Additionally, Orth served as a pastor for 7 years, authored three other books and is a volunteer for Guardian Ad Litem and anti-human trafficking organizations.

Judah is now at Camp Geiger in North Carolina.

To order a book, message Orth on Facebook. He is requesting for donations to be made to Lavished Ministries in Panama City.
