Country Singer-Songwriter Jamey Johnson and his fiancee Brittany Eakins hired Milton couple Nan Foster & Steve House-Gregory of Milton to manage their May 20 wedding, which took place in Franklin, Tennessee.
Nan & Steve are well known in the area, owning and operating The Cutting Board restaurant, which recently relocated from Pea Ridge to Hwy. 87 S just south of Interstate 10 in East Milton. They also cater and organize events, taking weddings and other special occassions to the next level.
The duo first met Johnson at Milton High grad and PGA Golfer Boo Weekley’s home in Jay. Steve, a popular hometown cook, was recruited to cook up meals, including his Seafood Sensation entree, which Johnson requested for the wedding.
“There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to Jamey & Brittney for not only allowing us to be a part of their wedding but also trusting us to plan and execute it,” Nan said.
Brittney Johnson is a native of Mississippi and wanted to use her friends, Bruce & Wendy Putt with Fresh Cut Catering & Floral for flowers and Iris Smith, a world-renowned baker, who crafted an exact replica of Jamey’s guitar. Other than that, Nan put together a team of curated vendors and others from our area, including family members: son Cole Foster, a Santa Rosa deputy, for security detail, and son Nick Lundy (pictured below) for meat carving.
Addie Jernigan of Addie J’s Photography in East Milton was hired to photograph the wedding, which had 350 guests, including stars such as Kid Rock, Randy Travis, Colt Ford and Gary Allan. She and her assistant snapped more than 8,500 photos.

“What an experience to say the least,” said Addie. “There’s a lot of preparation that goes into events like this, and other weddings alike. What it takes is for a group of cohesive vendors to come together to make a day as successful as Jamey & Brittney’s Wedding. From the catering, to the florals, bar service, and other vendors alike, every detail of this day was perfectly crafted by the amazing wedding planner, Nan Foster. With her wedding expertise, myself and second shooter Brooke Barlow were able to preserve this day for eons to come.”
Also hand picked for the nuptials was The Thirsty Ranch, which is also based in Milton. “What started out as a labor of love for our daughter’s wedding has grown into a full-service mobile beverage company,” said Owner Melissa Weber. “We pour our hearts into every celebration, and this recent opportunity was an unforgettable milestone for our small business. Being chosen for Jamey and Brittany’s wedding is something we’ll never take for granted. We’re deeply grateful for the opportunity, the recognition, and the chance to bring our southern charm, award winning cocktails, and award-winning beverage service to the Johnson’s big day!”
