Local Halloween Fun Starts Friday!

From Boo at the Zoo in Gulf Breeze to tasty treats at Holland Farms in Milton to a creepy haunted trail in Jay, there are plenty of fun Halloween activities for families to enjoy in Santa Rosa County from now through October 31.

Here’s a list of area attractions:

Annual Trunk or Treat at YMCA Navarre

2-4 pm, Saturday, Oct. 23

Pullum Family YMCA – 2379 Pawnee Dr., Navarre

Join us outside for a trunk or treat, and other fun activities for the family.  Free and open to the public. 

 

Boo at the Zoo

Oct 24 & 25 and 31

Designed for a younger audience, families can enjoy scare-free, daytime fun for children and the young at heart. Festival includes Halloween entertainment and kid-friendly fun around every corner. Explore the  trick or treat trail complete with candy, treats, and toys, once houses, face painting, and of course our Ambassador Animal Headquarters. *All admission tickets must be pre-purchased only via gbzoo.com. Trick or treat trail has been expanded to incorporate social distancing and CDC guidelines. Vendors at trick-or-treat stations will be following CDC guidelines as well. Bridge Bar Halloweeiner Bash

Dress up in costume to enter in our costume raffle.  (Must be 21 or older and present to win.)  Don’t forget to grab a hot dog from Rhonda Jenny’s Dogs, and stay tuned for some special signature cocktails!

Yard Lights will performing @ 7 pm. Happy Hour from 3-7 pm. Raffle is from 7-10 pm (winner is called every hour on the hour.  Must be 21 or older and present to win).

 

City of Gulf Breeze Barge-O-Ween

4-8 pm, Sat., Oct. 31

Dolphin Stadium – Daniel Drive in Gulf Breeze

Trunk or treat style event to help support Gulf Breeze businesses impacted by the closure of Pensacola Bay Bridge. Cash Prizes, Food & Fun! Local business will have booths to distribute candy, sell merchandise and offer promotions.

 

Creepy Hollow Woods in Jay

Starts 6 p.m., Oct. 22-24 and Oct. 29-31

2251 Wade Road, Jay

Halloween Trunk or Treat

5-8 pm, Saturday, October 31

Stripes Pub & Grill – 1878 Andorra St., Navarre

Join us on Halloween for our first ever Halloween Trunk or Treat! We will have games and a DJ plus tons of cars all decorated for the event! First, second and third place prizes for “Best Decorated” trunk! This event will be Hosted by Stripes and the Greater Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce.

 

Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch & Maze

Sept. 19 – Nov. 1

Open Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Enjoy a Farm hayride that will take you around the farm and to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin of your choice. New activities for this year include the Holland Farms Mining Company and tennis ball cannons! Other activities include corn box, horse and regular swings, spider web, pirate ship, zip lines, pedal tractors on the racetrack, hill slides, rat racers, sandbox and an 8-acre corn maze with kiddie maze. Kids Costume Contest & Trunk or Treat

5-9 pm, Saturday, Oct. 31

Scooter’s Fish House – 1968 Hwy. 87 S, Navarre

Will have a car trunk outside loaded with candy for everyone to come by and get some. The costume contest for those 13 and under will begin at 6 pm – please arrive at 5:30 pm for registration.

12th annual Sweet Season Farms Corn Maze and U-Pick Pumpkins and Sunflowers

Oct. 3 – Nov. 8

2260 Horn Rd., Milton, FL  

Will be open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays.  Other dates and hours will vary.   Visitors can spend time this fall season navigating their way through our fun and unique corn maze with less dead ends and plenty of room to spread out on the farm!  U-pick sunflowers will be blooming in October along with our pumpkin patch. Bring the family and trick or treat on the Pik-itz lawn. Our vendors will have candy and activities. Story Tree Books wil be on-site with some spooky tales.

 

Trunk or Treat at Breeze Cinema 8

50,000 pieces of candy! Get your costumes ready and join us for this year’s Trunk or Treat!!  We are so excited to partner with The Breeze theaters to bring you an EPIC trunk or treat event!!  Rows and rows of cars and at least 50,000 pieces of candy to give out!  Prize will be given for best decorated trunk and best costume!
