Local restaurant and retail Phase I reopenings announced

Following is a list of local restaurant and retail shop reopenings for Phase I of reopening Florida. This list is under development and will be updated frequently, so please keep checking back. Per Governor DeSantis’ executive order for Phase I, certain businesses, including movie theaters and gyms cannot yet reopen; personal services are still prohibited, although salons are allowed to continue sellings products. Bars (which derive >50% revenue from alcohol sales) shall continue the suspension of on-site consumption; the restriction on vacation rentals (not hotels) was also extended for Phase I; per DeSantis, churches were never closed by the state.

RESTAURANTS (can reopen Monday, May 4 to on-site service with outdoor seating and 25% capacity indoors – all with six-foot separation between tables of no more than 10 persons) 

  • All-American Hero – open for to-go orders; reopening for on-site dining on Monday, May 4
  • Alphy’s – open for to-go orders; not yet decided on on-site dining
  • Beach House Bar & Grill – planning to reopen Friday, May 8
  • Bistro 98 – open daily for to-go orders from 7 am – 2 pm (closes at 1 pm on Sundays); reopening for on-site dining on Monday, May 4
  • Black Skimmer Grill – open for to-go orders (closed on Mondays); not yet reopening for on-site dining
  • Broussards – reopening for to-go orders, 2-7 pm, Friday, May 1; live entertainment on Saturday, May 2
  • Buh’s BBQ – open for to-go orders; on-site dining available
  • Cactus Flower – will stay with call-ahead curbside service featuring their full menu during Phase I 
  • Copper Bull – currently closed; planning to reopen locations on May 8
  • Culver’s – drive-thru and call-in service available; no decision yet on when to reopen on-site dining 
  • Cutting Board (Milton) – open for to-go orders; reopening for on-site dining Wednesday, May 6
  • Dewey Destins – reopening for to-go orders on from 11 am – 8 pm, Friday, May 1; reopening for on-site dining on Monday, May 4
  • DeVinci’s – open for to-go orders now 4-9 p.m., Tues.-Sat.; reopening for on-site dining Tuesday, May 5
  • Dickie’s BBQ (Tiger Point) – open for to-go orders and delivery; reopening for on-site dining Monday, May 4
  • East Bay Crab House – reopening Tuesday, May 5 – call for more details
  • East River Smokehouse – open for to-go orders; reopening for on-site dining Monday, May 4
  • El Patron Mexican Grill – reopens Monday, May 4; live music Tuesday, May 5 for Cinco de Mayo
  • Johnny Huston’s – will announced plans for reopening tomorrow
  • New York Pizza Depot – open for to-go orders; reopening Monday, 4 for on-site dining
  • Rib Shack – open for to-go orders; reopening  on-site dining on Monday, May 4
  • Samurai – open for to-go orders/delivery only during Phase I
  • Scooter’s – reopening Friday for to-go orders and delivery via Waitr; reopening on-site dining Monday, May 4
  • Shrimp Basket – open for to-go orders; not plans yet on on-site dining
  • Slippery Mermaid – open for to-go orders; deciding soon about on-site dining
  • Stripes – open for to-go orders; reopening on-site dining on Monday, May 4
  • Subway (Navarre) – to-go orders; reopening on-site dining Monday, May 4
  • TC’s Front Porch – opening for curbside service Friday, May 1; reopening for on-site dining from 7 am – 9 pm on Monday, May 4
  • Tommy’s Snoballs – open daily 11 am – 8 pm; extending until 10 am – 10 pm in mid-May
  • Tropical Smoothie – open for to-go orders; no decision yet on reopening on-site dining
  • VINE Wine Bar – closing permanently after a liquidation sale from 2-8 pm, May 5-8.
  • Waffle House (Navarre and Tiger Point) – open for to-go orders; reopening Monday for on-site dining
  • Where Y’at Seafood – open for to-go orders; reopening Monday for outdoor dining
  • Windjammers – reopening Monday for on-site dining

RETAIL/OTHER (may reopen at 25% capacity, starting Monday, May 4)

  • Cordova Mall – reopening Monday, May 4, starting at 11 am
  • Flea Market – reopening Saturday, May 9
  • Foxy Boutique – reopening Monday, May 4, starting with 11 am-2 pm Mon.-Sat
  • Gulf Breeze Zoo – reopens Friday, May 1
  • Iron Gargoyle – reopens 10 am on Monday, May 4
  • Island Style – reopens Monday, May 4
  • Karma – closed permanently

  • Mollie’s (Pea Ridge) – reopening Monday, May 4 from 10 am – 5 pm M-F, 10 am-3 pm Sat. and closed Sundays
  • Navarre Family Watersports – reopening for the 2020 season on May 1
  • Pik-Itz – reopens Tuesday, May 5, starting with hours from 10 am – 2 pm, Tues. – Sat.
  • Santa Rosa Mall – not yet reopening to the public (employee access only at this time)
  • Sunny Days Family Art Studio – open 10 am – 6 pm, Wed.-Sun.
  • Tech Spot Computer Repair – reopening Monday, May 4 from 10 am-5 pm M-F, 10 am-2 pm Sat. and closed Sundays
  • TJ Maxx – aiming for two weeks, perhaps sooner
  • Wave Outfitters – reopening from 10 am – 6 pm, Monday, May 4
