Man dies in Hwy. 98 motorcycle accident

A 22-year-old Niceville man was killed Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 98 in Navarre after he lost control of his motorcycle and rear ended a vehicle near Fontainebleau Court.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol incident report, Jeremy Ross was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on Hwy. 98 and lost control of his bike. After losing control of the motorcycle, he crashed into the back of an SUV driven by Jamaal Nicholas.
Ross was transported to Gulf Breeze Hospital following the incident where he was pronounced dead.
Nicholas was not injured in the crash, and Ross was wearing a helmet according to the FHP report. Charges are still pending in the incident.
