Milton Celebrates Mardi Gras this Weekend

The Emerald Coast Krewe of Airship Pirates this weekend will host the City of Milton’s Annual Mardi Gras Parade. Additionally, the Krewe will host kick-off and post-parade celebrations, including a fireworks display after Saturday’s parade.

The Kick-off Party Friday night will take place at Jernigan’s Landing, which is located at Riverwalk Park on South Willing Street in historic downtown Milton, Two Nashville recording artists, Keith Anderson and David Nail, will perform, starting at 6 p.m.

The Milton Mardi Gras Parade starts 4 p.m., Saturday at Milton High school and heads south on Stewart St. then east on Berryhill Road to Willing Street, ending at Jernigan’s Landing.

Following the parade, Frank Fletcher will take the stage from 6-10 p.m. A fireworks display will take place at 7:30 p.m, according to Krewe President Patrick Fitzgerald.

Both nights are family friendly with food trucks, local vendors and a kids’ zone. No outside food or beverage may be brought into the venue on either night. 

General admission if free, but Fitzgerald encourages the community to purchase VIP tickets for both nights via EVENTBEE TICKETS. VIP tickets are $60 per night, or two-day VIP tickets are available for $100, plus a $3.50 service charge. VIP experience is for 21 and up only and will include dinner, beer and wine, heated tent, VIP bathrooms, tables and chairs, and VIP viewing platform.  VIP is limited to the first 300 tickets sold.
