The Florida Highway Patrol reports the suspect in 11 separate hit-and-run accidents which occured Saturday evening along the U.S. 98 corridor between Gulf Breeze and Navarre.
Police say Daniel Weidman, 38, of Navarre, was driving a black Jeep Wrangler eastbound on U.S. 98 and eventually ran into a tree on the south side of the roadway before being transported to a local hospital.
Multiple charges are pending in the accidents.
