Navarre resident Brandy Michelle Howard, 33, was booked April 18 into Santa Rosa County Jail on two counts of felony sexual assault on a victim under the age of 12.

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office on April 18, 2019 received a case from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in reference to possible child exploitation.

Based on GPS coordinates extracted from metadata on related files, officers were able to associate Howard with the case. Her address is listed as 2418 Raider Lane, and the incidents allegedly took place last year between January 1 and June 1.

During the course of the investigation, officers discovered nude photos of three prepubescent females, including some shots in which the victims were asleep or in a bath tub.

According to her arrest report, Howard initially denied sending photos or making a video. Details about the video were redacted from her arrest report.

Howard was initially issued a $1,000,000 bond and remains behind bars. She is scheduled to appear May 9 before Circuit Judge J. Scott Duncan.

Assistant State Attorney Mark Alderman will prosecute the case.
