Posted on March 4, 2021 by Staff reports

Updated Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance now allows 24-42 days between the first and second Moderna vaccine shots, per Santa Rosa County, which is offering weekday appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations in Milton.

To register, call Florida ShareCare’s toll-free line at 866-201-7110. The TTY number for the deaf and hard of hearing is 833-476-1035. Callers will be asked a series of questions to determine their eligibility. Additionally, the state is also scheduling vaccine appointments via http://myvacccine.fl.gov.

Operators may call back to schedule appointments. Therefore, call-screening applications or devices should be disabled and out-of-area calls should be accepted in order to avoid missing a call to schedule appointment.

Those who signed up through the state vaccine registration system may lookup their appointment at http://vaccine.sharecare.com/appt-lookup. To talk with a live person with questions about appointments or the vaccine, call 833-540-2044.

Persons who do not receive an appointment for the second shot by day 28, should call 866-201-7110 or email srcvaccines@santarosa.fl.gov with their name, date of birth and the location where the first shot was received.
