Submitted rendition of Navarre Gardens’ 17,500-square-foot facility
Last year South Santa Rosa News broke the news that a Walmart Neighborhood Market was coming to West Navarre, and that facility’s site is now under construction on north side of U.S. 98 across from Joybrook Road.
Additionally, just west of the new store and also on the north side of U.S. 98 at the intersection of Lowe Road, the entrance to West Navarre Primary School, land has been cleared ahead of construction of a 17,500-square-foot assisted living facility under development by local attorneys D. Keith Kilpatrick and Isaac T. Newlin.
The business partners announced they will called their 35-unit, 47-bed assisted living facility Navarre Gardens.
“Navarre Gardens will be a community for seniors unlike any other. Retirement and hospitality are blended to create an assisted living community where all will feel right at home,” said Kilpatrick.
According to Kilpatrick, the facility will feature lush landscaping and courtyards outside with spacious private and semi-private rooms inside.
“Our care philosophy puts a high priority on hospitality and personal attention – for both residents and family. Our centralized focus will be to ‘Cultivate productive lives’,” he said, noting the facility will provide 24-hour assistance with daily activities like bathing, medication reminders, dietary choice offerings, and more.
