Broker Eric Musch, owner of Equity & Trust real estate company, wants to help Sheriff Bob Johnson keep low crime rates in Santa Rosa. So Musch is sponsoring a weekly Crime Stoppers campaign through South Santa Rosa News.
Each week online and in the print our crime section will feature a wanted fugitive.
“I’m taking this opportunity to bring more awareness to wanted fugitives in an effort to help fight crime and keep low crime rates. Santa Rosa County has one of lowest crime rates in the state of Florida, and we don’t want to let higher crime rates in neighboring counties ‘creep’ in,” said Musch, who resides in Navarre with his family.
Sheriff Johnson praised Musch for the sponsorship. “To be successful in preventing crime, the Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office needs the cooperation of the citizenry. This is a prime example of a great community leader stepping forward to help his county. We as an agency applaud Eric for coming up with such a wonderful way to assist us in getting criminals off the streets of Santa Rosa County.”
Here’s how it will work.
Basically, it’s a three-part approach, Crime Stoppers relies on cooperation between the police, the media and the general community to provide a flow of information about crime and criminals, per the group’s website.
“Crime Stoppers is an invaluable and effective tool for Law Enforcement. They provide a secure path to anyone who wants to provide information to law enforcement but has a need to remain completely anonymous,” said Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Rich Aloy.

Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $3,000 if the information you provide leads to arrest.
