Stripes Pub & Grille is hosting a Pub Crawl starting at noon, Saturday, April 1. Proceeds will benefit Fisher House of the Emerald Coast at Eglin Air Force Base.
According to Robert Reyes, pub owner, more than 100 people have signed up. “This is year number seven, and we have raised over $10,000 in that time,” he said.
According to Reyes, participants will walk from Stripes to East River Smokehouse, TC’s Front Porch, Helenback Again, over the bridge to Juana’s Pagodas and then end at Lagerheads.
Fisher House Foundation is a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. The homes are located at major military and VA medical centers nationwide, close to the medical center or hospital they serve.
