Three Navarre High School Raiders marked the next chapter of their lives Monday during a special ceremony at the high school honoring their dedication to the high school’s soccer and football teams and one of their final farewells as all 3 will be heading off to their respected D-1 level schools at the start of 2017.
Raider football tailback Michael Carter, offensive lineman Nick Brahms and soccer player Emily Madril were honored at the ceremony since the trio will be graduating next week to get an early start on their athletic careers at Auburn University, the University of North Carolina and Florida State University.
Carter, the Raiders star tailback who scored an impressive 69 touchdowns this season alone, celebrated his move to the University of North Carolina at the mock ceremony. Carter announced his intentions to play for UNC back in July. Not long after he ceremony on Monday, Carter learned that he was named the Florida Dairy Farmers 6-A Player of the Year in football.

While all three can’t officially sign their letters of intent until February, the school held the special ceremony ahead of their early graduation.
