After more than three decades serving his country in the United States Navy and working alongside military and civilian leaders on national defense issues, Jon Fay says he is ready to continue his commitment to public service by representing Northwest Florida in the Florida House of Representatives.

A Republican candidate for Florida House District 2, Fay says his campaign is rooted in the same principles that guided him throughout his military career: service, integrity, accountability, and leadership.

“Public service has been the foundation of my life,” Fay says. “Now I want to continue serving by protecting the conservative values and quality of life that make Northwest Florida such a special place.”

Fay served as a Naval Flight Officer and retired from the U.S. Navy after a distinguished career that included support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, & Operation Freedom-Horn of Africa, plus humanitarian missions such as Operation SAHAYOGI HAAT in Nepal, and service as a Navy Legislative Fellow assigned to the U.S. House of Representatives during the 115th Congress. His career also included experience working with elected officials and gaining firsthand knowledge of how government decisions affect military families and local communities.

Following his military service, Fay continued working in the private sector as an aviation executive, bringing leadership experience from both public service and business.

According to his campaign, Fay is focused on preserving Florida’s conservative principles while addressing the practical needs of District 2 residents.

His platform emphasizes:

  • Protecting constitutional rights.
  • Supporting law enforcement and first responders.
  • Maintaining Florida’s economic strength through fiscal responsibility.
  • Supporting military families and veterans.
  • Improving education while increasing opportunities for workforce development.
  • Ensuring government remains accountable to taxpayers.

Fay says his experience in both military leadership and legislative policy has prepared him to make informed decisions in Tallahassee while keeping the interests of Northwest Florida families at the forefront.

With incumbent Representative Alex Andrade unable to seek another term because of term limits, the House District 2 race presents voters with an opportunity to choose new leadership. Fay says his goal is to bring practical problem-solving, disciplined leadership, and a servant’s heart to the Legislature.

“While Jon Fay’s background in business, as a Naval Academy graduate and as the Executive Officer of the Blue Angels is impressive, it’s his personal character, faith in Christ, and love for his family that make him who he is. I can’t think of anyone I’d be more proud to call my state representative,” stated Rep. Andrade.

Additionally, Fay has earned the endorsement of Trump-backed U.S. Representative for Florida’s 1st Congressional District Jimmy Patronis. “Jon Fay is someone I’ve trusted and worked alongside for years. I know he’s someone that will deliver for North Florida. That’s why he has my complete and total endorsement.”

As the campaign continues, Fay has pledged to meet with voters throughout the district, listen to their concerns, and advocate for policies that strengthen families, protect freedoms, and preserve the values that have long defined Northwest Florida.
