Rotary Club and Keep Santa Rosa Beautiful Annual Trash Pickup Set for May 22

Posted on May 18, 2021 by Staff reports

The Rotary Club of Milton’s Annual Trash Pickup, in conjunction with Keep Santa Rosa Beautiful, will take place Saturday, May 22.

Volunteers will meet at East Milton Elementary School parking lot. Overflow parking will be available in the church parking lot adjacent to the north of the school.

The pickup will start at the school and progress south on Ward Basin Road for roughly 1.6 miles to Tiki Lane.

The event will begin with coffee and doughnuts at 7:30 a.m. with work starting promptly at 8 a.m. and wrapping up by 10:30 a.m.

The groups are making an additional effort to attract more volunteers to assist this year because Santa Rosa County has experienced a lack of inmates and probation pick up due to COVID-19.
